Mitsubishi Eclipse Ralliart Concept

This is the Mitsubishi Eclipse Ralliart concept car. It originated in 2005 and was built by the Aria Group for Ralliart, Mitsubishi's motorsports arm. It is a highly-modified version of the 2006 Eclipse coupe, with a 400-horsepower EVO turbocharged 4G63 inline 4-cylinder engine and EVO all-wheel drive system installed by MillenWorks. It was displayed at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

2007 Mazda RX-8

 

This example of Mazda's rotary-engine-powered RX-8 has been customized with many accessories from Mazda's Mazdaspeed racing and tuning branch, including the front bumper and the front strut tower bar.

The RX-8 is powered from the factory with a 1.3-liter RENESIS 2-rotor Wankel rotary engine that produces 232 horsepower with a 6-speed manual transmission or 212-horsepower with a six-speed automatic transmission. 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata

The third generation of the Mazda MX-5 Miata roadster was introduced for 2006, powered by a 2.0-liter 16-valve dual-overhead-cam 4-cylinder engine. At mid-year, a new retractable hardtop version became available for the first time. The two-piece polycarbonate power retractable hardtop took 12 seconds to raise or lower. 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP

Dating back to 2005, the 303-horsepower 5.3-liter LS4 V8-powered Grand Prix GXP was Pontiac's flagship sedan, featuring Active Fuel Management, a 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive and TAPshift including paddle-style driver shift controls on the steering wheel, intermediate gear hold, downshift protection and second-gear start. Additional standard features for the GXP included StabiliTrak Sport electronic stability control system with performance tuning, 18-inch forged polished-aluminum wheels dual chrome exhaust tips, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, and heated front seats. 2007 Pontiac G6 Convertible

The Pontiac G6 was introduced in 2005 as a replacement for the Grand Am. It was available as a sedan, coupe and a convertible with a power-folding retractable hardtop. The convertible is powered by either a 217-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine or a 227-horsepower 3.9-liter V6 engine, with a 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive and manual shift mode, and featured standard 18-inch painted-aluminum flangeless wheels and an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash 6-disc CD changer, Radio Data System, TheftLock, graphic equalizer, and Driver Information Center. 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP

Pontiac's Solstice roadster was introduced in 2006 with a 177-horsepower 2.4-liter aluminum 4-cylinder engine. In 2007, Pontiac added the Solstice GXP, with a 260-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter Ecotec double-overhead-cam 4-cylinder engine with variable valve timing and a five-speed transmission that will accelerate it from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.4 seconds. This example was displayed at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder

 

The Mitsubishi Eclipse hardtop was all-new in 2006, but the new convertible version, the Eclipse Spyder, wasn't released until 2007. It was available as either a 162-horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder Eclipse GS Sport Spyder or as a 260-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 Eclipse GT Spyder.
