The Pontiac G6 was introduced in 2005 as a replacement for the Grand Am. It was available as a sedan, coupe and a convertible with a power-folding retractable hardtop. The convertible is powered by either a 217-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine or a 227-horsepower 3.9-liter V6 engine, with a 4-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with overdrive and manual shift mode, and featured standard 18-inch painted-aluminum flangeless wheels and an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash 6-disc CD changer, Radio Data System, TheftLock, graphic equalizer, and Driver Information Center. This example was displayed at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
