The 1098S was Ducati's new top-of-the-line high-performance sports bike in 2007. Its 2.0-liter two-cylinder engine produced 160 horsepower and could accelerate the motorcycle to 60 miles per hour in less than 2.8 seconds and bring it to a top speed of 186 miles per hour. The 1098S was priced at $20,000. It was displayed in the Exotics Gallery at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
