This example of Mazda's rotary-engine-powered RX-8 has been customized with many accessories from Mazda's Mazdaspeed racing and tuning branch, including the front bumper and the front strut tower bar.
The RX-8 is powered from the factory with a 1.3-liter RENESIS 2-rotor Wankel rotary engine that produces 232 horsepower with a 6-speed manual transmission or 212-horsepower with a six-speed automatic transmission. This example was displayed at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
