Slightly smaller than the RL, the 2006 Acura TL was powered by a 3.2-liter 258-horsepower aluminum-alloy 24-valve single overhead cam V6 engine and the choice of a 5-speed SportShift or a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. Features included the new Acura/ELS DVD-Audio System, the first true discrete multichannel surround sound system in a production vehicle, Bluetooth wireless telephone interface and optional voice-activated navigation system.
