The 2006 Acura RL was powered by Acura's 3.5-liter 290-horsepower aluminum-alloy 24-valve single overhead cam V6 engine, at the time Acura's most powerful. It featured Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™, a five-speed sequential SportShift automatic transmission with paddle shifters, keyless access with driver recognition and a voice-activated navigation system with access to real-time traffic information and even restaurant ratings.
