The Panoz Auto Development Company was founded in 1989 by Danny Panoz. The company is based in Hoschton, Georgia. The company builds high performance sports cars and racing cars. The Panoz GTS is a racing version of the Esperante. As a racing car, the GTS is not street-legal and is intended for track use only. Like the Esperante, the GTS is powered by a Ford V8, in this case producing 430 horsepower in a car weighing just 2,700 pounds. It was displayed at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
This 2006 Panoz GTS was raced by Nick Fluge and was displayed at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show.
Matt Crandall became Oregon Region GT2 Champion in this 2006 Panoz GTS, which was displayed at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show
