This motorcycle is the 1949 Harley-Davidson Pan-Shovel Custom Memorial built by Rudy Chappelle of Custom Harley & Auto in St. Helens, Oregon.
Chappelle named the bike as the Custom Memorial because it is built using spare parts left behind by friends in the Gypsy Jokers club and members of other motorcycle clubs that have passed away.
Chappelle built the bike in 57 days for the Speedchannel television series V-Twin TV. It was displayed in the Motorcycle/Aftermarket Gallery at the 2007 Portland International Auto Show at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
